Elephant
Plains Game Lodge offers you comfortable style and exclusivity
in one of the world's few remaining unspoiled wilderness areas
- the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which forms part
of the 2,2 million hectare Greater Kruger National Park. Over
many years our strict conservation policies and successful wildlife
management have resulted in a multitude of African game species
to be found in this area. Here you will come face to face with
Africa’s famous Big Five - Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion
and Leopard. Rare species such as the endangered wild dogs and
cheetah are also seen regularly. The area is typical African
savannah with a large variety of antelope, birds and reptiles
to be found.
Elephant
Plains overlook a scenic plain where a whole array of game
and birds frequently visit the waterhole. It is home to a
maximum of 12 guests ensuring personalised service and maximum
comfort. The lodge features five spacious appointed thatched
chalets with individually styled interior décor and
en-suite bathrooms. Mosquito nets and air-conditioning are
just a few of the creature comforts.

Evening
meals are served around a fire in the boma under the vast African
sky. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style in the thatched
lapa. Adjacent to the swimming pool, the wooden deck offers
spectacular views overlooking the waterhole and scenic plain.
The care with which each meal is prepared together with the
setting of the open-air boma or thatched lapa, ensures an unforgettable
